However in this game the grind is the whole game.Ī great example of a reason to bot in a game is if the only thing you enjoy is PVP but it takes a long time to get your perfect stats or even serviceable stats. Generally the reason you would bot in any game is to skip the annoying grind and get to the fun stuff. Like you said before when there was profit in it I could see someones reasoning but not now. There is really no point in botting in Diablo 3 now. So you wont be thinking "i will just grab some botted/duped SOJs from this random guy for cheap".Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread Even if some random guy joins your pub game, you arent going to be asking him to send you screenshots of his gear or anything. Most people are going to be doing solo runs or friend only runs most of the time. You are not going to know perfectly that some guy has 100 SOJs on mules unless hes dumb enough to screenshot it and brag about it to everyone (which would be a quick way to get banned). Buyers and sellers do not have the perfect information in those games, they cant see "oh theres 100 listings of SOJs by botters/dupers on the auction house". ![]() It takes away the fun of grinding beacuse in the back of your mind you will be thinking "why bother when i can just get these duped/botted items easily from some random guy?".īut this isnt a MMO with an ingame auction house and its not going to be like path of exile where you have listing sites and can message someone anywhere, anytime. Thats not why it takes away the fun of grinding. It takes away the fun of grinding because everyone else has the great shit already.
